Day is warm and lovely
Day is warm and lovely The breeze is light and sweet The breeze is light and sweet Daylight is sweet and warm And lovely is the breeze. Night is soft and singing Night is soft and singing The air gently scented The air gently scented The night air is scented Soft and singing gently. The romantic summer The romantic summer Sun and moon are lovers Sun and moon are lovers The summer sun and moon Are romantic lovers. Soft and sweet is the sun The moon, light and lovely Singing are the lovers Gently and romantic Warm is the scented air Day and night is Summer. *For those unfamiliar, the paradelle form is a bit of a word puzzle. In the first three stanzas you'll see that the last two lines are made up of the words of the two-line repetitions. The last stanza is made up of all the words in the poem and has no repetition.
