Time to wake from your pillow of dreams
My baby Jesus born on Christmas Day So lovely the birthday greetings Wise men following their star Bowing with presents As you slumber Cuddled in my arms So brave without tears to cry Seeing these strangers from afar Come to proclaim you Savior the light Shining a new life here to live in peace Beaming into the future sad on a cross Your sacrifice nailed on a beam The thorny crown for a king Rising into heaven Baring the sins of man Who bow their knee in praise In need to be saved by your grace Set free at last that prison of hell on earth.
