![]() Our nation once fought for its right to simply be... On the backs of our founding fathers, we found our sovereignty. Forming this great union, a land where all are free. Throughout our country’s history, many battles have come our way. There was never one as gory as the one we saw that day. We will return to our former glory! From the ashes we are rising once again. Our skyline may not be the same, but we will not let the terrorists stain... Our strength, it will endure. These sites we will reclaim. Though we’ll always feel the heartache, the terror and the pain. On this tenth anniversary, a memorial we will unveil, honoring, remembering the precious souls we lost. Freedom, hope, endurance, the human spirit will prevail. The very reasons for their hatred, our life and liberty, are the things we’ll never allow their evil to curtail. ![]()
