YOU FORGOT

One thing forgotten, don’t you see,
you forgot to remember me.

When the days are long and lonely,
and you’re drawn within yourself only.

If you can’t seem to find a little smile.
Don’t think there’s one within a mile.

Thoughts are racing through your head,
you would be better off if in bed.

You have worried until you’re sick,
know you won’t get better quick.

You’re so alone sad and blue,
Like a cloak had enveloped you.

One thing forgotten, don’t you see?
You forgot to remember me.
