To Touch

As I lay in wonder why,
I feel tears drop from your eyes.
Falling so slowly from your cheeks,
Kissing my face,
Touched in love complete.
Lost in a moment that can never end;
In silence I am not afraid.
Tears having seen anguish I beg none to see.
As I rest, eyes closed,
The light of darkness, where anger's wrath can not intrude.
Dreams unfold, suns warmth cascades upon you.
Replayed in that moment,
Your tender touch in restful ease,
Forever with grace I had never seen.
It was a jump for me, it wasn't a fall;
A long way down to hold tenderness -
Touch all.
