when readiness
meets expectation
when that long dreamed about event
becomes a reality
when years of imagination
become actuality
words become deeds

clocks stop timing
the moment freezes
becomes etched
in memory
eternally recorded

voice falters
blood courses
breath catches
current charges
fingertips touch
energy meets energy
sparks meet sparks
eyes meet.........
forever gazes back

the perfect moment.
