In the dark of night,
waiting for the dawning of the days early light, watching eagerly for those first bright rays, to bring forth light to the world, how I miss the Day when Night falls, her light extinguished for the eve, as the Moon rides the skies. Anticipation like that of a child on Christmas Eve seeps into my bones, as I seek that which is elusive. The birth of light at this the darkest time of night. Like a child afraid of the dark I seek the light. Like a moth to the flame, Knowing it will burn, still I run to that brightness.
