YES YOU GOT EVERYTHING You turned away and left me on that December night, and just walked right out the door, Taking with you my light. Breaking all your promises, to make our house a home. You left me with broken dreams, so very much alone. Most everything can be fixed when it's broken apart. It doesn’t seem to be that way with a fragmented heart. Many days turned into weeks, those to a year or so. I still couldn’t see the light that you took, that year ago. But as I read the judgement in the divorce decree, darkness is slowly lifting, You got the best of me.
