washed to paradise
came a moment you were in my arms ~

came a moment
you were in my arms
somewhere drifted
out the sea
sailors whispered
but we couldn't hear
nothing more than you (and me)
quiet waited
in tomorrow's storm
flowers bloomed
amazing (grace)
someone told me
you had gone away
beyond the memory
of this place

majesty
with the beggar talked
stood together in the sand
spoke of times before (as
brothers) we
had not the sense to understand
was not for fate
the way we're meant to find
would for this peace
another come
into this paradise
of life (I know)
where we shall be for love -
as one

the place we left
it hasn't changed a bit
but for the moments (we recall)
gardens washed along
upon the tide
shores awake
beneath the fall
