Bright Eyes
Big bright eyes smile shed angelic light. A mesmerizing twinkle holds me, a willing slave. The cherry red lips open on clean pink gums. The sweet smile, honeyed eyes and a cherubic face fill my world with radiant innocence, divine charm and a feeling of being wanted. Oh, I love him so. Those almond-shaped eyes make me cry if they cry, make me smile when they smile, control my emotions, rein in my senses yet turn me carefree, kind. What’s it about a baby that brings a special sparkle, rare content, a unique joy, and overpowering compassion to a mother’s heart? I love you my sons, my heartbeats.
