A Prayer for Fathers

Lord, Bless our earthly Fathers
With your precious, loving care;
Help ease their heavy burden
When the load is hard to bear.

Grant them all the wisdom,
And the strength that they will need
To shun this world of vices,
Self-centeredness and greed.

Help them love their children
And find time with them to share;
Help each find that special way
Of showing that he cares.

Thank you God for Fathers-
Their guidance, love and care;
We hold them up to you, dear Lord
And lift their names in prayer.
