Intoxicated by a zest for life,
my sweet Victoria sang with robins outside her window at the break of dawn and danced with waves on the sand at the beach. Captivated by her hugs and kisses, I dreamed of the day she would be my wife. Suddenly, innocence was blighted by submission to alluring seductions which the dark euphoria of drugs produce. Before long, that terrible addiction had her tangled up in its nasty web and stranded her on a chemical high. She tried to swim that raging sea of tantalizing euphoria, until the rip tides pulled her down. Now, because of the drugs, there are no more hugs.
