the sun struggles to rise above the treetops a valiant effort i turn a page to record todays events, my mind still on yesterday, mountain vistas, cotton fields, deer running beside the highway, a voice from heaven, a timid smile, a giggle today is but a fledgling (hardly begun) the page yet blank I wait in wonder imagining -- endless possibilities.
