When Your Time Comes
About the feelings and fears of death

There’s no looking to the future,
for the future is unknown.
Hoping to have one more day,
too afraid to be alone.

Life and death the pain one feels,
too silent, not even a sound.
Sheer loneliness and emptiness,
bring fear felt all around.

Uncertain times brings scary thoughts,
as one prepares for one’s depart.
Prayers bring hope and happiness,
as love flows from one’s heart.

Fearing what one doesn’t know,
there is pain in all goodbyes.
Loved ones weep in their own pain,
for it’s death they can’t deny.

A family's presence means support,
when the final days are here.
Surround oneself with lots of love,
to help take away one’s fears.

Time will bring the moment here,
either quickly or real slow.

When one’s life on earth is done,
it's time to just let go.

God will be there to hold one’s hand,
be comforting and take one home.
Memories of loved ones never fade
as one will never be alone.
