Thesis Statement One

The first meaningful job I held was a manager at McDonald's where I worked for four years. Contrary to the stigma that goes with fast food employment, the experience I gained was more than valuable. It paid well, training was top notch, and for the most part the people interaction was pretty cool. I learned how to interact with business computer systems, perform maintenance on the equipment from the grills and fryers to HVAC systems, and regulations regarding the food industry from various institutions. McDonald's provided an excellent source of structure that to this day I think many companies simply don’t have.
