Your poem writing assignment this week is to write a "small stone."

Little girl
Rosy red chubby cheeks,
delightful, shy smile,
mischievous eyes pleading
for the scrumptious Ice cream.

Describe to me how you've written it: what was the experience that inspired it? Tell me the rhyme scheme, point out the poetry devices used, how many syllables in each line, and anything else about the mechanics of this creation.

When I thought of what to write for a small stone, an image came to my mind- that of a little girl with rosy cheeks and cute smile and I decided to write about it.

There is no rhyme scheme. I have used alliteration in rosy/red, chubby/cheeks, shy/smile. Syllable count is 4/4/6/7.

Small stone is not a specific poem form. A small stone writing according to Fiona Robyn is a "very short piece of writing that precisely captures a fully-engaged moment." Small stones are tiny pieces of time, an experience, a sight – something which catches your attention if only for an instant. It can be positive or negative – it can be pretty or ugly. It can lend itself to philosophy or flights of fancy. But it's brief and every word is carefully chosen.
