Chaos Called Hurry
A poem about a busy day.

Such a day I had today,
Running here and there;
Had bills to pay,
No one to help nor care.

Sick ones to see to
Work later this afternoon,
So much to do,
I need some relief soon.

Rush, rush, and run,
So very little time,
So much to be done,
Oh, I hear the clock chime!

A minute of quiet time,
A deep breath and a sigh;
A few words to rhyme,
Will certainly get me by.

Meditation and prayer,
to calm the chaos within,
Knowing God is there,
Offers a peace therein.
