how could I ask ever (for something) when all that was given is written somewhere the taking of nation a burning of angels giants we fell to fields unaware lowly these flocks were surrendered to stone but I beg not forgotten their place torn from the bosom love had forgiven armies as martyrs to grace how could I grieve for a moment of comfort a light when another has gone welcome wears weak to boards nearly broken my heart is made stronger for love kept from home as eyes weep for arms ever empty time passing now into pieces (we mend) the most we could bear to remember (one moment) and none with the wisdom the strength to defend those who have fallen and those hid away voices grow silent (and small) uttered in places I dare not betray would love be enough (enough) for us all
