"What if the moon had an atmosphere?" Michael asked .
"That's impossible. It's too close to our atmosphere. There would be
a magnetic repulsion between the two ionospheres." Dr. Hawk replied.
"Are you sure? I have been thinking about creating an atmosphere with
nuclear ionizing plants. The moon is the most likely place to start."
Michael was serious. He had attained the Presidency of the Federated
    Nations. His resources were global.

Doctor Linda Hawk was his chief scientific adviser. She began to
calculate the costs. There is no water on the moon. Water would have to
be manufactured from basic chemical compounds in moon rocks. This
would take a hundred years to start production. "Mr. President the costs
are beyond our budget. Perhaps the Martian colony could be accelerated?"
"The moon must be reanimated. I have made promises with the Travelers."
    the president's voice was shaken.

The Travelers were from another dimension. They had escaped a supernova
and had settled in New Jersey. Many of the advances in Earth's society had
come from them. Their representative Larissa had contacted the President
with this demand, "Make a rainbow on the moon." She could not be ignored.
The Travelers had demonstrated their God like power and made a one world
government. Their motives for a lunar Paradise were not clear.

There were mineral mines there. Moon gold was very pure; refined in
zero gravity. But, without water the process of hydration was slow.
Sea water was shipped in and desalinated for drinking and oxygen ..
producing refrigeriums. The soil was dust. "Let us not forget how many
cities were flattened by the Travelers. They have no patience." Michael
gazed up at the crescent moon. Venus shown brightly in its cup.
"We will begin with five orbital space stations to refine the metal for
the lunar project: Green." Linda answered and exited.

The first Lady of Michael's harem stepped into the oval office.
She wore her blue veil. "My husband. Your meal is prepared."
Michael smiled and followed her to the dining hall. Larissa was waiting.
"You must complete the reanimation of the moon in 70 years." the
traveler spoke telepathically to Micheal. Michael sighed and nodded
and sat at the head of the dining table. "Will you help us?" he asked.
Larissa gave a small smile . Her black eyes glistened, "Of, course."
She sat down to the left of Michael and ate a fig.
