Fall Song
As dawn brings forth another day And darkened skies slip away Where the moan of the AM train Screams out over a quiet terrain When the chilled October breeze Enhances the shed of waiting trees Colorful leaves of fire bright Varied shades embrace the light. More than one will find a reason To revere this lovely season Rousing to think what will be The metamorphosis of a tree Sentimental is the heart With expectation at the start, Of one more day that will be Stimuli for reverie. Does it get any better? Mother Nature when we let her Captivate our every thought Through crunch and crackle of a walk Pumpkins all along the way Grass begins to look like hay. Streets covered by tree’s debris. Altogether a mosaic to see
