He sits beside her and takes her hand. Caressing her fingers he asks, “What are you thinking?” She looks to his eyes and is moved to speak waterfalls of thoughts. The days and moments spent with him rush through her mind like the wind took yesterday. The feelings awakened by the sound of his voice and his words repeatedly echo to her from the place where he first whispered in her ear of love and lifetimes. Memory pictures of his smile and movements stare at her as she has fixed the details of him firm in heart. A chill dances across her neck as she simply answers, “Of you.” Dairesse L. English
