ONE DAY AT A TIME:

One day at is time is
what I have heard them
say but only after their
shattered dreams and
shattered lives arrive
up on the scene.

And then they seem
to slowly learn to
take but only one
day at a time.

As their lives are turning
ever so slowly and some
things are regained but yet
there are some things
that are not regained for
the things that they have
done.

If only they had learned to
take one day at a time
before their fall maybe
things would be as good
as before, you never know.
