The Most Wonderful Parents
I love you, I'm sorry I don't always show it...

Although I don't always show it,
Although I'm not always there,
I just wanted you both to know,
That I really do care.

You raised me from screaming child
through awkward teenager to
Well rounded adult,
and I owe it all to you.

You've been there for me,
Through thick and thin,
You've let me sulk and cry and moan,
And told me to suck it in.

You've been there through some
of the worst times in my life.
You've supported me and carried
Me through my endless strife.

And even just the little things,
When I'm feeling blue,
I know that you'll always be there,
I can always count on you.

We've been through some good times,
Fun times in the park,
Laughing, swimming, running, winning,
Exhausted in bed by dark.

I'd be lost without you,
Two rocks, always there,
To my wonderful parents,
I love you, to lay it bare.
