Punctuation-Does it really matter!

To whom it concerns! Someone close to me commented on my writing. I didn't have the right punctuation. I am a Christian Hip Hop artist and for me even though this is a writing website, punctuation is not as important to me. People are gonna think what they want to think. Even if you write perfect, they will find something wrong with your writing to justify to themselves that their writing is better. Don't waste your life with unimportant matters, when there is enough important stuff for two lifetimes. I know there's a splinter in my eye, but watch out for that forest next to you!!
