Winner of Poetry a Day Contest for the Day and Week
The Circus Church of Today Step right into the Circus Church of today, rock and roll music is coming your way. The people jump, grind and twirl around, and some end up lying on the ground. There are no praise hymns being sung; just screeching guitars, and bass drums. The preacher slithers to the pulpit like a snake. The gospel he preaches is nothing but a fake. He tickles your ears with what you want to hear, and then he pulls your strings like a puppeteer. He pleads for faith and then takes your money. Then, he acts like a clown trying to be funny. There is no message of salvation to tell. Welcome, to the Circus Church from Hell!
