Hot and Spicy
It is mouth watering really.

Hot and Spicy

Hot and spicy
cooks the turkey pricey.
Its aroma floats
guests nod and note.

How good to share
a Thanksgiving fare
with our near and dear,
our hearts full of cheer.

There is a sense of joy
as we sit down to enjoy
a sumptuous delicious dinner
that by the minute gets thinner.

My heart swells with gratitude
to Nature for her magnitude
to the gracious people that love me
to my caring Father who blesses me.
