Autumn Dance
![]() Tumbling leaves, colored red and gold, pirouette in the wind controlled by circumstance and chance. They are a mystery to behold; their movements random, unforetold, in an autumnal dance. Notes: An entry for November 30 of "A Poem A Day Contest" Prompt 3: Write a Sestet Rime Couee Poem. The poem has 6 lines. The rhyme scheme is aabaab. The syllable count is 8/8/6/8/8/6. Before you ask, yes "mystery" has an acceptable pronunciation of "miss-tree" (two syllables) according to Dictionary.com Thank you for taking time to read my poem.
