WHAT GRANNY’S DO My Granny got a new fishing boat About two years, or so ago ‘Cause of the things that Granny does, She likes fishing best I know. Ever since she bought that darn thing, Granny comes back just wishing She had caught the one that got away, While she was out there fishing. So now Granny’s made a special anchor, That I saw just last night. It has so many things attached to it Sure is an awesome sight. She started with an old hubcap, Then welded on a wheel. Next she added a big old anvil, Made out of solid steel, Then chained on a new computer, With monitor and all, Put it in a case of glass she made, With Krazy Glue last fall. Says she’s going to network it, To another in her boat, Then e-mail those fish right in, And Granny doesn’t gloat. Some Granny’s get their cars stuck, On a muddy country road. Some write poetry all day long, Until they have a load. My Granny wants the ice to melt, So she can get to fishing, And catch the one that got away. Granny’s plumb tired of wishing! ©12/01/11 Monty ABAC Scheme but no syllable count
