Tomorrow
Tomorrow. This daily mantra gives him strength to continue. Though his task is in the here and now, his hands work for the future; a dream that he holds secretly in his heart and mind. A dream he gently touches as he kneels in silent prayer by his sleeping children in the dark. Wiping tears, he says, Tomorrow. Notes: An entry for December 2 of "A Poem A Day Contest" Prompt(s): Prompt 2 - Write a poem from the perspective of a sweatshop labor worker and Prompt 3 - Write a Fox Septet Poem. This poem has 13 lines with a structure of 3/5/7/9/7/5/3/5/7/9/7/5/3. Rhyme is not required. Thank you for taking time to read my words. I would appreciate it if you took a moment and left a comment. Your reaction, impressions, criticisms, - yes, even encouragement or praise Ken
