If I were to say;
“I love you”
it would be silly.
But, if I were to say;
“I love the ideas of you”
that would be spot on.

A stone skims the water,
lands on the other side
of a pond of letters,
bathes under sunlight,
feels the coolness
of off shore breezes
with the likes of you.

Falling perspectives hear
the friendship.
