Journey

I gaze back down the road I have wandered,
A long and winding journey,
Full of twists and turns galore.
I have come so far over the years,
overcoming the obstacles I have faced.
I see them now in my past,
The memorys not faded,
Replaying in my mind.
But I have moved forward, moved on,
And now I know I'm stronger,
Able to hold my own,
No longer do I co-depend on anyone.
I'm proud of my commitment,
To overcoming the hurdles,
And vow to push forward for ever more,
As I turn to face the future.
And the road it stretches forth,
before me a journey yet to travel.
