Relaxing during the Holiday season

Christmas is a time to count our blessings,
A time to relax and stop stressing,
Remember the reason we celebrate,
Other wise the joy will be missing.

Joy comes when we to learn to collaborate,
Help others the day to commemorate,
And second by second unwrap the day,
This approach our souls will invigorate.

The first thing in the morning let us pray,
It does not matter which prayer we say,
The prayer itself will bring the blessing,
And will guide our souls along love’s way.

Form: An Interlocking Rubaiyat consist of an unlimited number of stanzas, with 3 stanzas as the minimum. Each stanza has 4 lines with the same syllable count and the syllable count is chosen by the poet. The rhyme scheme is aaba bbcb ccdc……xxax. The 1st, 2nd, and 4th lines rhyme with the 3rd line of the stanza before and in the last (final) stanza the 3rd line rhymes with the 1st, 2nd, and 4th lines of the 1st stanza.
