Christmas Songs 2011
Editor: Megan Rose Princess Megan Rose 10 Years
Assistant Editor: Angel Angel

Hello Everyone: Welcome to Christmas 2011. Are you ready? Angel bought a new tree{I think hers is green} and I bought a new white tree. I decorate mine in purple. It doesn't seem possible it is Christmas. Thinking about Christmas made Angel and I think of favorite Christmas songs. That is what we are writing about. Angel and I hope these favorite Christmas songs will put you in the mood. I was hoping members of the Flair For Writing Newsletter would let us know what their favorite Christmas songs were{we sent out a group e-mail} but no responses. Angel and I will share ours. Hope you will enjoy this issue.

Angel's favorite song.

Hi Everybody: I hope all of you have a fantastic Christmas Day with your loved ones in the new year 2012 brings you lots of joy and happiness. I know all of us have a favorite Christmas song but this one is a favorite of all time. Let It Snow! is a happy jolly song don't you think? So now, let;s all get together and sing.

My Favorite Christmas Song

Let It Snow

Oh, the weather outside is frightful

but the fire is so delightful

and since we've no place to go,

Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow.

It doesn't show signes of stopping

and I bought some corn for popping,

The lights are turned down low,

Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow.

When we finally say good night,

How I'll hate going out in the storm

but if you really hold me tight,

All the way home, I'll be warm.

The fire is slowly dying

and my dear, we're still good- bye-ing

but as long as you love me so.

Let it snow, let it snow

The wonderful Christmas song Let It Snow was created by lyricist Sammy Cahn and composer Jule Styne in 1945.

Thanks, Angel. This is beautiful.

Megan: My Favorite Christmas Songs:

Little Drummer Boy: I love this song especially by Bob Seger. It makes me feel closer to Jesus and it reminds us of the reason for the season. I would love to have been around when Jesus was born. The song is beautiful, touches your heart and makes you say Happy Birthday, Jesus, We Love You.

Do You See What I See? Another song I love. This song tells the story as the message is passed from a little lamb, shepherd boy and mighty king. I love to hear Whitney Houston or Lorne Green sing this one.

Last Christmas, I Gave You My Heart But The Very Next Day You Gave It Away. This year, I will give it to someone special. Heart touching Christmas song and I love to hear Taylor Swift or Celtic Thunder sing this one.

White Christmas. I love Bing Crosby and it wouldn't be Christmas without Bing. A little snow for Christmas is nice. I love watching Bing and Danny Kaye in the movie White Christmas. This song warms your heart.

Ave Maria. This is a beautiful slow song that makes you think of church and Jesus which is a good thing. This song gives me a feeling of peace.

Merry Christmas, Darling By: Karen Carpenter. She had a beautiful voice and this song makes you think of the one you love.

Andy Williams. The Most Wonderful Time Of The Year. This is all about Christmas. To me, Andy Williams does this song the best.

Where Are You Christmas? By: Faith Hill. I love this song. The Grinch couldn't steal the Christmas spirit. This song is so sweet and makes you appreciate Christmas. Remember: IT ISN'T ABOUT THE PRESENTS. IT IS ABOUT FAMILY AND FRIENDS.

Santa Claus Songs. We can't forget Santa and his elves and reindeer. Santa and Rudolph keep us young.

The Magic Of Christmas Day By: Celine Dion. This song talks about Christmas decorations, God Blessing Us, The Magic Of Christmas Day and how we wish it could last forever. This is the song I decorate the tree by and sing.

There you have it. I love Christmas and I hope some of these songs are your favorites.

Angel and I hope you have a Merry Christmas. She did all the beautiful Sigs for the newsletter. I would be lost without her. We hope to do more newsletters next year. We have been doing newsletters for 9 years. See you next year! Love: Megan and Angel
