False Alarm
I cannot wait as I drive my truck. The station lights promise respite. "Out of order!" Just my luck. It's too late. I can't quit. Looks like I am stuck. I sneak out back in the grass and pass ... gas! Notes: An entry for December 14 of "A Poem A Day Contest" Prompt(s) Used: 2 and 3 Prompt 2: Write a poem about a restroom in a service station. Prompt 3: Write a Nonet Poem. A Nonet has nine lines. The first line has 9 syllables, second line has 8 syllables, third has 7 syllables...etc. until the last line, finishing with 1 syllable.
