Enchantress of the Night
The dark enchantress of my dreams calls me, each night, in her soft voice and traps me with her tender schemes. The dark enchantress of my dreams is never satisfied it seems and offers me no other choice. The dark enchantress of my dreams calls me, each night, in her soft voice. Notes: An entry for December 18 of "A Poem A Day Contest" Prompt(s) Used: Prompt 1 and 3 (iambic tetrameter) Prompt 1: Write a poem using the word “enchantress”. Prompt 3: Write a Triolet Poem. The poem consists of 8 lines. The poem only has 2 rhymes. The First line repeats at the 4th and 7th lines. The Second line repeats at the 8th line. ABaAabAB.
