I miss you, Kathy Murphy,
with your smiling words and encouraging attention. I miss your honesty and praise and your insightful summaries of my work. You found depths of meaning of which I was unaware. I didn’t see you go; my computer was offline for months and when it (and I) returned to full function I saw “former member” written beside your name. I was devastated because I hadn’t said goodbye
