I once saw an eight colored rainbow Flowered by a sea of grey clouds Many a confused bird flew through its rays A great storm came down upon us Washing away our pain and despair It covered us with happiness and joy Purple colored, sugar coated raindrops Fell as far as the eye could see Ghosts from long ago danced upon the road We traveled across the great land Flipping a quarter at every junction Tails took us left, heads took us right We had a magic bus that sat about twenty Fools, friends, manic, and merry Everyone had a seat with a view Guitars played and music was sang Smoke filled the empty spaces Glasses were raised, people danced in the aisles The song of the rainbow filled our ears No worries would bring us down We’d camp at night, eat at morning Lost summer days, spent together Our gypsy caravan went from show to show Pirates of the concert scene
