When Winter Whispers...
Form Poetry: a 'Candlelight Poem' about Winter, written for 'A Poem A Day Contest'

When Winter whispers
in my ear, shivers
of wind tease my cheek;
when light is bleak
and darkness so
early; snow,
and hail,
wet and
biting -
my
hands
and
feet
made
of
ice,
When I reach home's warmth, I smile.
