![]() Christmas Eve Hallowed night of Christmas Eve, How can we all not believe? Christ has made His first sweet cry, Warmed by ox and ass close by. Hush, the night is dark andstill, Bright the stars in Winter's chill. So His life on Earth begins, Born to save us from our sins. Saviour, teacher, Son of God, We should tread the path He trod. Lived and died for love of Man, Part of God's almighty plan. Rose from death to make our place, In His heaven by His grace, By the loving Father's side, Ever may we so abide.
