Reconciliation
Memories hang, tattered and gray, shadowing thoughts of times long past. Guilt overwhelms and leads me astray taking me through the sins I’ve amassed. God, in his mercy, has shown me the way; delivering me unto peace, at last. Notes: An entry for January 2 of "A Poem A Day Contest" Prompts used: All Prompt 1:Write a poem using the words “tattered” and “gray” or “grey” Prompt 2: Write a poem about shame. Prompt 3: Write a Harrisham Rhyme Poem. The poem consists of 6 lines. The rhyme scheme is a,b,a,b,a,b. The last letter of the first word of each line is the first letter of the first word of the next line. (See bold) Line Limit: 40 Line count: 6 Thank you for taking the time to read my humble words.
