If there be a time
to weep and mourn I'd swear to thee, thine might make such an act forlorn. So take heed my sweet, there be beauties here and maidens fair all around--but none so fair as thee. Sweetest of all songs is the one sung by you in adorable glee; too soon the song is sung, I long to hear it again. . . Come back to me. Do not fear, for Paris I am not; neither am I Menelaus, I truly love. I believe in love eternal, begot by those gods that dwell above in starlit citadels. Compose I surely can't, yet I suppose you could care less for you love not a suitor but only Wisdom. Thus I shant seek you through-- I just wish a day in thy queendom. To give me but a chance is Justice in Love's eternal glance.
