WATER AND EARTH Wondrous valleys, mountains of blue A symphony of eternal symmetry Tides cascading with a rhythm Ever marching forward Retreating home, to march again Seeming to dance an incessant tango Yearning for one another Meeting for just one small moment Bravely leaving back to its depths Involuntary their fingers lose their embrace One remains steadfast, while the other yearns Taking each wave, into its arms Inviting it back once again Calming, the land remains constant Earning its place on the global landscape A rock against a tide of uncertainty Rarely moving unless forced The ground, the foundation we build upon Holding itself, waiting for the water once more
