I got a Color Nook for Christmas. I totally love it. I wanted a Kindle at first but after getting a demonstration about using a Nook, I knew this is what I wanted. You can download free books as well as buy books for a Nook. I downloaded Wuthering Heights, The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo, some vampire stories, werewolf stories, an authorized sequek to Twilight by another author, The Bible as well as religious items and romance stories. I can store a lot of books as my book case is getting full and I am running out of places to store books.

At first, I wanted a Kindle but my husband said if I had questions about using it, who would I talk to? We have a Barnes and Nobles 35 minutes away and I go there every 6 weeks, so I thought why not? I had five different Barnes and Nobles employees helping me the first time I downloaded books. They were so nice. The one woman at work has a Kindle and she likes it. You can also download music on a Nook and shop on line but I just want it for books.

A Nook can't replace all books. I have my Twilight Books and Twliight Movie Books I love that I have in my Book Case. I have all Jane Austen's novels in one book on my book shelf. I recently found my Wizard Of Oz Book and Alice In Wonderland Book that I got from my Great Grandmother when I was a kid. I am keeping them as thry are classics. I also found some Nancy Drew and Cherry Ames Books, Big Valley Book that I forgot I has and these books are special and they wouldn't be that special on my Nook but Nook may replace books someday. As writers, we may have to publish and make our books available on Kindles and Nooks. Time will tell. I love taking my Nook to work. I work midnights at a mental health facility and I have books on my Nook to read. I don't have to go through my books in my book case and have my tote bag loaded with heavy books. The only bad thing about owning a Nook is recharging the battery but there are drawbacks to everything.

My mother doesn't own a Nook and I use to loan books to her. She isn't interested in my supernatural romances and that is what I read a lot of lately. We both love Danielle Steel books and I promised her I will still buy them and loan them to her. I also buy Guidepost Mystery Books and give them to my mother. Craft books are nice to have and take to the store when you have a project you are working on. The rest of the books I will be putting on my Nook.

It is nice to have a library on a Nook or a Kindle. Now that I have my Nook, I don't want to be without it. If you have a Kindle or Nook, I would love to hear from you.
