America. One of the superpowers of the world. The land of the free, and the home of the brave... But, is it all as it seems?
Our government. One of the most unique in the world, diverse and ruled by the people. We all know the economy is crashing, it's all over the news, people are losing jobs. It's the same story across the planet, city after city, country after country. Let's face it, we're in a nosedive towards rock bottom. If we don't recover fast, the entire world economy may crash over time. But it didn't have to be this way. Greed is what fueled the collapse. Our government is claiming they're doing all they can to save money and pull out of this economic nosedive. Yet Congress gives themselves raises and buy expensive cars, when the rest of the US is up to its neck in debt. Enough is enough. Congress needs... a reboot, I guess you could say, it's in dire need of being flushed clean, our representatives in Congress and the Senate are out of touch, when they're supposed to represent us, they represent their own opinion. We need everyday Americans in those seats, the average "Joe the Plumber", you could say. Our representatives have fortified themselves in their comfortable postions, making it so it's difficult to "dethrone" them. Well, America says "Enough!", we want our country the way it should be, not how you personally want it. They've snatched power from where it should be and kept it for themselves, and that's not right.
We're called Home of the Brave, so we need to come out with it, show our unhappiness. And Congress and Senators, if there's a representative reading this... you need to tell yourself and your friends to come out and face the music. We've had enough of the lies, and we trusted you, instead you claimed to be trying to fix the economy, yet you cut benefits from seniors and veterans, took money from Social Security and you're driving us deeper into the ground. Well, ENOUGH! If you think America needs a clean slate in this area, make a petition, call a senator or a representative, even call for resignation, just do something!
Our government is great, and I mean that, but it's gone corrupt in places. I don't mean like take-over-the-world corrupt, more like a greedy, selfish corrupt. It's unacceptable, they need to quit. If I were them, I would resign in shame. But I'm not, so instead, we need to call for change. Get people's attention, direct them here, or pass the message on: "WE NEED CHANGE!" We need a clean slate, and the way people are doing things now are not going to get us there.
