Snowstorm
A short poem about a snowy night

Snowstorm
Silent snowflakes, drifting down
Gliding, ghostly, into mounds
Wind-whipped wisps of flying snow
Lighted by the moon's pale glow
Howling, whistling wailing wind
Makes a fierce and noisy din
Bits of powder blast my face
Gritty, grainy, frozen taste
Flying, frosty, flaky fun
Hoping winter's never done!
