Chicken Soup
A dash of recollection from my childhood days, simmered until perfection, seen in hues of maize. Homemade chicken soup. How good it tastes! Notes An entry for January 9 "A Poem A Day Contest" Prompt(s) Used: Prompt 3. Prompt 3: Write an Epulaeryu Poem. The subject/topic must be about a meal or feast. The poem has 7 lines. The syllable count is 7/5/7/5/5/3/1 (or it can be reversed 1/3/5/5/7/5/7). The last line is a one-syllable descriptive exclamation (or the first line if reversed). Rhyme is not required.
