Your Sad Games - A Poem
About a friend of mine. I never can tell.

I try to help, I really do!
But it mustn't be easy, being you.
I've watched you fall, I've watched you rise,
But I never can tell what's behind your eyes.

I give you advice, you shrug it away.
“I'm not ready for that, this isn't my day”
No one's ever ready, I can tell you that now!
You will have to snap out of this some how.

You're good at hiding it all away,
But sometimes it's not right, I have to say
You're not the only one who has your tricks
I'm not that dumb, not everything I miss.

You like the sympathy I've given to you,
And I know that you milk it, don't you?
“I have no friends, so I haven't ate”
But last time I saw you, you were with a group of eight!

You were smiling, laughing, telling jokes,
So things can't be that bad, is this a hoax?
Well I've got no more time for your silly games,
You either let me help, or I'm stepping away.
