Stay On Course
Written by: penonpaper

I sat there weeping a waterfall;
I looked at my eyes in the rear view mirror, all red and glossy, for I was feeling so full of shame;
My tear covered skin reflected the sun brightly as I dwelt on all my fears,
I've only myself to blame;

I tell myself, "But, this is divine timing!
Everything is happening to me the way it is supposed to right now,
Even though I feel so alone and uncertain, I will keep on reaching and climbing;
Happiness is within my grasp, I will get there, it doesn't really matter how;

I've come so far in my evolution, I won't go back to the way I use to be,
Not having any boundaries;
Respect is something we all deserve to feel alive, and to live free;
I will live with an open heart and free myself from the haunting worries.
