Dear Me:

Can you believe it? It is 2012. It is time to make some changes in your life. I need to keep the promises and set some goals for myself. Where do we start?

I haven't published a book in six years. I am going to publish another book this year. It is time! What will the book be about? I have been writing a story here that is fifty chapters about a girlfriend and I that go back to the past in Jane Austen's time and we meet Jane Austen. We find love, gypsies and meet some interesting people. I need to finish this and try to get it published. I am working on a novel with the Novel 101 Writing Class and this is a vampire story. My female vampire is 300 years old and she owns an Antiques business. Her Associate and best friend Diane is a witch but Vandy doesn't know Diane is a witch and Diane doesn't know Vandy is a vampire. Vandy doesn't like other vampires because they are evil and she isn't human but she interacts with humans because of her Antiques business. She does find love with a vampire Lucien who may or may not care for her and he has vampire and werewolf enemies. Vandy helps her lover fight his enemies. He may or may not have connections to the vampire who turned her. My friends ask when am I going to write another book. I want this to be the year that happens. This is my number one goal.

Scrapbooking. I am a Creative Scrapbook Designer as well as a writer. I haven't scrapbooked much in the past two years. I scrapbooked a family album and I am putting that in the Fair. I want to win Reserve Champion or Grand Champion. This is my year to get the purple ribbon! Grand Champion. My mother and I designed a card with an elephant on it one year and got Reserve Champion. I have received First Place Ribbons on my scrapbooks in the past but this year, like the Olympics, I am going for the gold. In this case, purple!

I would like to quit my Nursing job in mental health. I hope I can get another book published and and make a living at writing. I am hoping this will be the year.

I promise to exercise more and lose some weight. I will try to eat more foods that are good for me.

I will read the Bible all the way through this year and be in Church more. It is always a good idea to have God in your life. I will try to have more patience and remember what would Jesus do when I run into conflicts in my life. I would like to make the world a better place.

I would like to read more books to help me with my writing and be knowledgable. I have a Nook and have downloaded several books and it is nice to have my own library that I can carry around with me. Reading also helps you gain wisdom and can take you anywhere. You can never have too much knowledge.

I will share my writing with others here at WDC and do reviews for the groups I am in and review others. I will make new friends at WDC and be a mentor to others.

Here's to a beautiful 2012. I have set my goals and made promises to myself and I plan on keeping them. Life can be and will be good.

Sincerely:
Princess Megan Rose
