It Seems As Though
English Sonnet

It seems as though you never went away.
The guide upon the wall of course is sure
That we had parted long ago one day
To end the hurt, as children, we incurred.

Our love, inciting fire was reckless spent.
Engulfed in our desire we could not see
What speed we sailed Poseidons' Water's, bent,
Untill ourselves would part and ruined be.

Not one refrain of disrespect remain.
My heart now opens wide where once was closed
And welcomes back as one to his domain
Your wiles, so quick and lively, unopposed.

No weathered song of love would be replete
Should hatred rule and never cede defeat.
